The recipes to the story of
Bangers & Balls

By Duncan Tinkler & Imogen Tinkler

Husband and wife team Imogen and Duncan Tinkler are co-founder of Bangers and Balls, a supper club and kitchen revolution movement based in the U.K

"Kitchen Table Revolution"—is aiming to get people to think differently about food. More people are interested in foraging and seasonal eating but it can feel overwhelming knowing where to start. We teach people one thing a week to preserve so they build up to 52 ingredients in a year and create a Christmas hamper they can even give to friends. Find our more here.

Like everyone fears, overwhelm and even excitement can stop you from sowing the first seed but we can all be the difference in the world if we just start. Here is the story of how we started a Kitchen Revolution from our Kitchen Table. We can all be the change in the world by taking small steps every single day.

An idea is born in a New Orleans Bar Williamsburg New York

We felt like we were in prohibition with candles for light as we sat devouring cocktails in the middle of a heat wave during a powercut with songs being played on the piano.

There was magic in the air. We spoke about what we could create if we could do anything. Not worry about what anyone thought, or if it would work but what if we created something we really loved and others did too. And the idea of Bangers and Balls was born.

Like everyone fears, overwhelm and even excitement can stop you from sewing the first seed but we can all be the difference in the world if we just start.

We decide to start doing Pop Ups to test our proposal for Bangers & Balls

We got a YES from multi award winning bar LIttle Nans! The amazing founder “Grandson Tristan” set it up in honour of his Little Nan Jojo. Tristan invited us into the family and we felt like his cousin as we popped up there every single Tuesday for 2017. Some really magical times. And taught us a lot about branding and how you can create the environment and find other businesses with the same values out there.

We get a YES from Jake who manages The Pearsons Arms to pop up the the Albert in Whitstable
