Marvellous Magnolia Marzipan

Magnolia Syrup gives a simple marzipan a stunning gingery twist. Perfect for popping on your easter simnel cake!


  • 180 g Almond Flour
  • 140 g Icing Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Magnolia Syrup (see notes) or Water
  • 1 tsp Almond Extract
  • 1 tsp Rose Water


  • Whizz your almond flour and icing sugar in a blender to combine.
  • Add your Magnolia Syrup, Almont Extract and Rose Water. Pulse untin your mix holds togeher to form a rough dough. Is your dough too wet? Add some almond flour. Too dry? Add a little more syrup.
  • 'Flour' a surface with icing sugar. Knead your dough for about 30 seconds, before placing in a covered bowl and popping it in the fridge.
  • Enjoy withing a week!
